This is a great basket, it just does not fit the handlebars of my bike ! I would recommend buying this if you have a basic bike with slim handlebars, but if you have a mountain bike or hybrid, the handlebars may be too wide to be able to use the basket.

This basket is just great. The size holds a paper sized grocery bag perfectly. The bracket for this basket drops onto the handle bars and leans against the handle bar stem. To ride around without the unit, simply lift it off. Or the basket comes off the bracket if you want to take it in shopping with you. The mesh bottom keeps things from falling through. I am having a great time with it.

The basket is great, very sturdy and strong. I did not want a big basket that fit out over the front tire, this does not. It fits a grocery bag very well. The mesh bottom is good so then items cannot fall through. Fits good on the bike handle bars and frame (I have a Schwinn beach cruiser). If I wanted I could probably use on my mountain bike, does not fit as well on the handle bars since they are a bit bigger around, but good clearance of the brake cables. Mostly I want to express how well of service I received. The basket arrived very quickly but the velcro strap(which is padded) that attaches the basket holder onto the bike frame was frayed...I contacted the store directly, they not only sent me a new strap, they sent a new holder as well...A note...the holder is different as the picture shows, it actually attaches to the basket and bike a little different. I am glad, I like it better. Great product and wonderful service......
