DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM FROM XTREME BIKE AND SUPPORT. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
I bought this basket and it broke on second use. I only had a 6 pounds (I weighed it) handbag in it both times I used it. When I sent it back to the seller, they claimed I had turned my bike too severely at some point and that the straps broke the basket as a result. For information I am a 40 years old suburban mother, and I do not use my bike to do any tricks. I only used the bike lightly like any normal person would.
In any case the company would not give a refund because apparently it was my fault that the basket was too flimsy and could not support any normal usage. The company also claimed they have seen this many times, thereby confirming a quality issue with the product. However, they still refused to refund me simply because "the manufacturer would not refund us".
I have bought thousands of products from Amazon, and I have to say this is one of the worst experiences I have ever had. In summary I would say "DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT AND DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER EITHER".

I purchased this basket for my Linus city cruiser. I like the look of the basket but I find it to be a little too small. Due to the shape of the basket the bottom is much narrower than the top so you are limited to what you can fit inside of it. Mostly I only carry my handbag when riding my bike but will occasionally pick up few items when doing errands. Most of my handbags will not fit in this basket so I had to resort to buying an additional basket to attach to the rear rack of my bike. Therefore making the Nantucket basket more for looks than function. I can not comment on the durability of the basket since I have not put anything substantial in it.

I purchased a Huffy Tommy Bahama Beach Cruiser bike for my mom for Christmas and this was the PERFECT accessory for it. The quality is fantastic and it is perfect for this "old timey" bike! Highly recommend this basket!
